Trekking tour 'The unknown Cyclades: The traditional villages of Andros and the pigeon houses of Tinos'

Day 1-6: Athens- Andros Island. The trip begins and ends in Athens. During our stay in the capital we will have the opportunity to see Acropolis, the new archaeological museum and the city?s old quarters. The next few days of the trip we shall spend them in the island of Andros, home of the most famous naval families of Greece and one of the richest historically and culturally Cycladic islands.
Day 7-10: Gavrion-Tinos Island. Today we leave Andros and go by boat to Tinos, the island of the pigeon houses and the numerous Catholic and Orthodox churches. We hike among beautiful white-washed villages, visit the Byzantine castle of Xoburgo and spend time in the village of Pyrgos, home of the most prominent Greek sculptors.
Day 11:Tinos -Mykonos-Delos-Tinos: An excursion by boat via Mykonos to Delos. Time for a visit at the antiquity site and the museum. On the way back we will have a stop at Mykonos with its little alleys and picturesque buildings.
Day 12-14: Tinos/Western part: We hike to the ancient temple of Poseidon in Kionia, swim at the coast of Agios Romanos, walk to the beautiful village of Falatados and cross the impressive granite canyon on our way to Leivada beach . Return to Athens by boat.
