Trekking tour in Northwestern Greece with excellent hiking routes for those who want to combine challenging hiking with alpine scenery in the Greek mainland. Pindos mountain range with its natural wealth offers an unforgettable experience to the visitor in combination with warm Greek hospitality and delicious cuisine.

Day 1: Arrival - Central Zagori area: Arrival and transfer to Zagori area.

Day 2: Tsepelovo - Via Tsouka Rossa- Vrissohori We start in the morning from Tsepelovo and follow the trail up to the pass of "Tsouka Rossa" at 2.315m. From there we slope down the mountain of Karteros, across varied scenery until we reach Vrissohori village.

Day 3: Vrissohori- Pades: From Vrissohori village we descent going down we reach the river bed of Aoos river. From there up-hill to Smolikas mountain and to the picturesque village of Pades.

Day 4: Pades - Samarina: Early in the morning we start climbing to the top of Smolikas mountain (2.637m-second highest peak of Greece). From there slopping down the mountain through pine and beech forest we'll reach the Vlach (nomad) village Samarina.

Day 5: Samarina- Distrato: We start in the morning from Samarina and we?ll climb up the mountain of Gomara and then descend to the woodcutter village Distrato,

Day 6: Distrato? Vovoussa Early in the morning we'll head for Vovoussa village which is situated close to the banks of the Aoos river.

Day 7: Vovoussa - Top of Mountain Flega - Metsovo: We follow the Aoos river to the south and after 1 Hr. we follow the Bearstream bed, one of the last pure habitats of Pindos range. We occasionally wade in the water depending on the season and after 1 1/2 more hrs., we join the path on the river bank which we follow for another 3 1/2 hours to the top of Mt Flega ( 2317m). We go downhill the mountain till the lake of Aoos deep in the bear country. Pick-up and transfer to picturesque Metsovo.

Day 8: Departure. Transfer to the hotel
