Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu international airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 3: KATMANDU - PHAKDING: Morning flight to Lukla from Kathmandu (45). Start hiking towards Phakding. On our way we cross Kangru Khola river and we have the chance to see the first of the high tops, kusum kangru (6.367m.). Overnight in lodge.
Day 4: PHAKDING - NAMCHE BAZAR (3.446m.).Today's route starts from the river Dudh-Koshi and continues in a steep uphill to Namche. During the hike we have the chance for a glimpse at Everest. Bekkar waterfall (2.700m.) is on our way as well as few inns together with the infamous Sherpa villages. Monjo, a tiny village that we pass by, is at the edge of the National park of Everest where we will have the chance to see black and brown bears, monkeys, leopards, wild mammals and numerous bird species (eagles, hawks and Himalayan vultures). Overnight in lodge at 3.300m.
Day 5: NAMCHE BAZAR. Day 5 is a day of rest and acclimatization. Acclimatization in this altitude is crucial in order to be able to hike at a higher altitude. We can hike up to Syangboche to admire the panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range: Everest (8.848m.), Nuptse (7.879m.), Lhotse (8.501m.), Amadablam (6.856m.) and Thamserku (6.608m.). Alternatively we can hike towards Thani or Khumjung which is a shorter hike. Overnight in lodge at 3.300m.
Day 6: NAMCHE - TENGBOCHE (3.860m.). Today's hike is approximately 5 hours and will be given the chance to see the top of Amadablam. We shall also visit the monastery in Tengboche. Overnight in lodge.
Day 7: TENGBOCHE - PHERICHE (4.240m.). On our way to Pheriche we will cross many villages with numerous lodges. Before the entrance was permitted to tourists, this area was covered with stables that later were turned into lodges in order to accommodate the visitors. This area is considered to be the operational center of all Everest expeditions and you can also find there a small information center for the ?mountain sickness. Duration of hike, 6 hours. Overnight in lodge.
Day 8: PHERICHE - LOBUCHE (4.910m.). This hike on day 8 is considered to be ?easy? until Tughla. From that point onwards we will gradually climb and cross Khumbu glacier. From the trail we can distinguish Pumori top (7.145m.), Lobuche (6.145m.) and Lobuche East (6.119m.). Hike duration,6 hours. Overnight in lodge.
Day 9: LOBUCHE - GORAKSHEP - KALAPATHAR (5.500m.). Today we cross two glaciers, the Changri Nup and Changri Shar. From this point we can see Everest and the Pumori base camp. Overnight in lodge.
Day 10: GORAKSHEP - EBC (5.500m.) - LOBUCHE (4.950m.). Duration of hike,5 hours. Overnight in lodge.
Day 11: LOBUCHE - PANGBOCHE. We descent to Pangboche. We pass from the Imja Khola river and continue to Tengboche through a forest. We camp (bivouac) close to a monastery that was built in 1919.
Day 12: PANGBOCHE - NAMCHE. Today's hike duration is about 6 hours. We continue to walk in the forest and cross the canyon of Dudh Koshi river. As soon as we cross it we ascent to Khumjung beshi and continue towards the village of Khumjumg. Overnight in lodge.
Day 13: NAMCHE - LUKLA: We use the same road we used in the start of the trekking. Hiking duration, 6 hours. Overnight in lodge.
Day 14: LUKLA - KATMANDU. Morning depart for Kathmandu. Overnight in a hotel.
